In line with activating the role of persons with disabilities and equipping them for the job market through specialized vocational training courses demanded by society, taking into consideration their disabilities and culture, Khalifa Computer Group, sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has developed an Android and desktop application. This application is an online self-learning course, accompanied by an assistant app that assists deaf individuals in preparing and serving hot and cold beverages and taking orders from guests through the assistant app, supported by sign language.
This training course covers the necessary scientific material for the common elements of the buffet attendant position, qualifying individuals with disabilities to work as buffet employees. It is one of the most sought-after positions in various establishments. The course utilizes instructional videos that demonstrate the work process, supported by video, audio, text, and illustrative images in sign language. The application screens and content are designed to be user-friendly for individuals with disabilities. The sign language translation has been certified by the United Federation of Deaf Associations.
